What is a Salary Calculator?
This tool converts any pay rate — whether hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — into all equivalent time periods. It’s useful for comparing job offers or understanding your take-home pay on different schedules.
How it works
All rates are converted to an annual salary first, then divided into each time period:
- Hourly: Annual ÷ (hours/week × 52)
- Daily: Annual ÷ (5 days × 52 weeks)
- Weekly: Annual ÷ 52
- Bi-weekly: Annual ÷ 26
- Monthly: Annual ÷ 12
- Yearly: Base figure
How to use this tool
- Enter the Amount for your known pay rate
- Select the Rate Type (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
- Enter Hours per Week (default 40)
- Click Calculate
